BlackBridge is a company that provides imagery, networks, and more. They have a constellation of five satellites to create Rapideye. Rapideye covers areas that are difficult to image. They also have a Mosaic program to allow more difficult images to be possible. BlackBridge ranges from 0.5m to 20m of resolution. Customers can customize the resolution to best fit projects. They also archive satellite imagery of Canada. BlackBridge works with Airbus Defense and Space, as well as DigitalGlobe.
Two of BlackBridge’s products are streaming imagery and mosaics, and persistent change monitoring (PCM). Mosaics done by RapidEye PCM alleviates the issues with updating and maintaining large, complex datasets. BlackBridge provides imagery, imagery acquisition, analysis, web map services, and custom application development. This company does it all, and helps spread the field of geography.
