North Korea
Rebuilding Launch Site
New satellite images suggest North Korea is pursuing the “rapid rebuilding” of its long-range rocket site at Sohae Launch Facility in Tongchang-ri, North Korea. The satellite evidence, coming from several U.S. think tanks and testimony from the South Korean intelligence service, reveals renewed activity at the site. North Korea began dismantling the launch station in Tongchang-ri near its northwestern border with China last summer after the historic US-North Korea summit in Singapore. The report comes after no progress was made towards decnulearization of the Korean peninsula during the second summit between Mr. Trump and Mr. Kim. Sohae has been North Korea’s main launch facility since 2012 and has also been used for testing engines of missiles capable of reaching the U.S.

England
London Explosives
On Tuesday, three suspicious packages were found at Heathrow Airport, London City Airport and Waterloo railway station in London. According to the Metropolitan Police, the “small improvised explosive devices” were found in A4 (8.27 × 11.69″)  postal bags. The police were first called to investigate a suspicious package at The Compass Centre in Heathrow Airport, shortly before 10:00 AM local time. The package was initially opened by staff, causing the device to initiate and start burning. No one was injured and the building was evacuated. No person or group has claimed responsibility for the packages. The police stated in a tweet: “We’re treating the incidents as a linked series & keeping an open mind regarding motives.”

World
Most Polluted Cities
A report released Tuesday highlights the world’s most polluted cities with Indian cities ranking highest.  22 of the top 30 most polluted cities are located in India. The findings of the report, compiled by Greenpeace and IQ Air Visual, are based on public air monitoring sources that measure PM2.5, a fine particle that is able to penetrate the lungs and bloodstream and cause adverse health effects. Because many cities in Africa, east Asia and south Asia lack up-to-date public air quality information; the authors of the report believe the actual number of cities exceeding acceptable PM2.5 standards is much higher than what the report reveals.
