North Korea
Serious Sanctions
The United Nations Security Council have unanimously voted in favor of the toughest sanctions yet on North Korea. The new sanctions seek to reduce North Korea’s exports by more than a third. These sanctions are largely the result of continued intercontinental ballistic missile tests conducted by North Korea, which is illegal under international law. In response to the sanctions, North Korea has stated that it would “not put our self-defensive nuclear deterrent on the negotiating table.”This map shows the range of current and planned North Korean missiles, which led to the current sanctions being enacted. GeoQuestion

Friday’s Answer

Q: Which country has the most lakes in the world?

A: Finland
This is a highly debatable question as many would claim Canada as having the highest area of lakes but if you take into consideration the absolute number of official lakes that are claimed by a country, Finland would overtake Canada by a large margin.  The country has 187,888 official lakes while Canada officially claims 31,752 major lakes.
