Russia
Plane Crash
On Sunday, Saratov Airlines Flight 703 crashed claiming all 71 lives on board.  The plane was headed to Orsk but made impact just 44 miles outside of Moscow city. Though officials do not regard this as an act of terrorism, they are considering all causes viable.  The wreckage spans 30 hectares and will take about a week to fully investigate. Moscow City Hall has cancelled the traditional Maslenitsa festivities, a Russian folk festival celebrating the beginning of Spring, to mourn the victims of the crash.
