Australia
Twin Attacks Foiled
Two terror attempts have been recently foiled in Sydney, Australia. Senior members of the Islamic State in Syria and the Levant (ISIL) sent the two terrorists materials to create poisonous gas and explosive devices. One man tried to smuggle the explosive onto an airplane in Sydney, and the other attempted to unleash the poisonous gas in public, but both plans were thwarted by police before the attacks. Police have described this as “the most sophisticated terror attempt on Australian soil.”This map shows the location of Sydney’s international airport, where the explosive was found.
