United States
Travel Ban

On Sunday, President Trump reissued an “indefinite” travel ban that will go into effect on October 18.  Unlike his previous travel ban, which expired on Sunday, the revised version added non-Muslim countries Chad, Venezuela and North Korea to the list of nations whose citizens cannot enter the United States. Sudan was not included in the updated list. The constitutionality of President Trump’s previous travel ban is set to be reviewed by the Supreme Court in October. This map shows the countries included in President Trump’s revised travel ban. Indonesia
Eruption Evacuations
Almost 50,000 people have fled from the Indonesian island of Bali out of fear of a volcanic eruption. Indonesian authorities raised the volcano threat to the highest level when they detected intense seismic activity coming from the Mount Agung volcano. According to an official from the National Disaster Mitigation Agency, the chances of eruption are very high but the exact time of the eruption is unclear. The last time the volcano erupted was in 1967, killing 1,100 people.
