Lyke is a city guide mapping mobile app that provides immediate ratings on hot spot areas in a city and is crowd-source so users don’t have to worry about outdated reviews. Places and areas are color coded according to the most recent feedback from community. Users can find out how lively the place they want to go to is at that time.
The more the community of users grows, the better the experience becomes as well, so Lyke’s service will only continue to improve. Their goal is to provide the most relevant information, and incite users to contribute information as often as possible. Lyke allows user to conclude the action in just two steps. They just let the app know how they feel at their current location and then discover trending areas around them.
Lyke features information on areas where people go, the top 10 places of interests around you, ratings given to these points of interests by other users, distances from locations, and allows any user to contribute to the database with their own information.
