Travel Journal is a web-based platform that acts as a personal travel organizer for users. This way people have a new way to keep their travel wishlist in one, easy to access place.
The web platform includes a maps interface, which organizes the user’s travel wishlist by location which makes it easy for them to access the information that’s most relevant to their needs.

Users can also create city specific wishlists, activity specific trips and much more. The users themselves enter all of the data, making it the most personal travel organizer yet. Users create notes by searching for cities, dropping a pin, adding an entry, filling out the entry details, making it easy to travel! They can also add a trip, fill out the trip details, filter pins, and create a trip flow map to visualize how the journey will take place.

The American Geographical Society reached out to Travel Journal for further information on their background and vision and Director Paras Desai was kind enough to provide us with the following insights:
“Travel Journal was born out of the realization that travel is a big part of our lives yet its one of the most unorganized. With the power of the internet and smartphones, that just wasn’t acceptable to us.
