Everyone has been out on the street and their phone battery is dead. The company Zappy is trying to end that. Zappy has rechargeable batteries that you can plug into your phone to charge your phone. The difference with Zappy is that you don’t have to carry the device with you. Stores and other businesses can reserve Zappy to live in your storefront. The other half of the company is the Zappy mobile application. On the app the users location is used to find the closest Zappy charger.
Personal location is becoming a very useful tool. Your location on a mobile device can help you find restaurants and stores around you, there are apps to help you find public bathrooms, and now Zappy allows you to find charging stations to keep your phone alive to use for other location-centric uses.
